Heather Loeb
Heather Loeb lives in Corpus Christi, Texas, with her 2 children, husband, and 6 cats. She has major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, avoidant personality disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorder. Due to her severe depression, she has had more than 30 electroconvulsive therapy treatments. She is proud of this because it led to her recovery, which has been a long, but happy, road.
Heather runs a blog, Unruly Neurons, which is dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health. She also writes a mental health column in the Corpus Christi Caller-Times and is the new Affiliate Leader at NAMI Greater Corpus Christi.
In her spare time, Heather likes to knit (easy) projects, sew (again, easy) projects, and read. She obviously loves cats and the Dallas Cowboys. Heather loves Diet Coke and pizza. And sour candy.
